Have decided that two days like yesterday would be too much so will break it up. Slightly later start and we are off to Disney's Blizzard Beach - a massive water park. We arrive and once again it is sweltering. This place has pools of every type. We try out a number of pools that we can all go on, racing down on foam mats. Matt does not make the height restriction for some but is just the right size for others, Anna seems to be able to go on all and Holly misses out on some of the smaller kids rides.
Summit plummet the steepest waterside in the world Holly and Anna and I did it!!! Slusher Gusher another steep one was also great fun.
Weird to have a park dressed up as a ski resort in the middle of Orlando in the heat but that is the theme!
Again you see some sights!!
A lazy river right around the park kept us busy for a while and we managed to stay amused right until the park closed at 6pm.
We left the park and got Doris (our GPS unit) to get us to Downtown Disney a public area of shops restaurants and bars. Here we find the Lego shop and Matt goes wild! Huge Lego models of dragons and buzz lightness etc etc. The shop is HUGE and VERY busy. Matt ends up buying a Ninga model.
Had dinner in an American Irish pub and briefly going to watch the Irish band playing in the restaurant; funny, these guys speaking in heavy Irish accents that no one would have understood. Irish dancing was good too.
More wandering around, shopping and ice creams before heading back to the hotel around 10.30. Exhausted again! We're off to the Space Station tomorrow.
